Frontiers of Eberron: Quickstone is now available through D&D Beyond, bringing the 254-page Eberron sourcebook to the digital marketplace and ready for digital play.
Originally released in 2024, the book was developed in collaboration with Eberron creator Keith Baker. It focuses on a relatively untapped region – the Western Frontier.
The D&D Beyond release gives players and Dungeon Masters freedom to access the book’s content through the digital platform. This includes its character options, monsters, magic items and adventures.
What is Frontiers of Eberron: Quickstone?
Quickstone is centred on the frontier town of the same name, located near the border between Breland and Droaam. The region provides a more focused setting for an Eberron campaign, with the book covering its settlements, factions and the surrounding areas, all with a bit of a western theme.
The book also explores parts of Droaam, including Cazhaak Draal and the Watching Wood, giving DMs material for campaigns that extend into into the full area around Quickstone.
New character options
One of the larger parts of Quickstone is its collection of player options.
The book includes:

- 6 species
- 5 backgrounds
- 12 feats
- 35 magic items
- 3 spells
- 25 monsters
- Rules for Arcane Duels
The species are really interesting too, with options including gargoyles, gnolls, harpies, medusas and worgs. The subclasses are unique as well and tied to what we know of Eberron with options including the Demonshard Barbarian, Bloodhound Ranger and Nemesis Sorcerer.
An adventure from levels 1-5
Quickstone also contains Heart of Stone, an adventure designed to take characters from 1st to 5th level.
The adventure introduces players to the region and its different factions while providing a starting point for a Campaign a DM could extend from here. Alongside the adventure, the book provides the setting material needed to develop the surrounding region a bit more too.
A more local approach to Eberron
Quickstone takes a different approach from the usual setting guides. Rather than attempting to cover the whole of Eberron, it concentrates on a relatively small area with enough material to run a campaign there.
That makes it quite useful for DMs who want a ready made Eberron setting without having to develop a campaign location from scratch. The addition of new character options, monsters and magic items also means there is material here for players who are really just interested in character creation to.
