Daggerheart is Critical Role and Darrington Press’s answer to a more character led fantasy TTRPG. It keeps the core of what makes tabletop roleplaying great, then reworks the mechanics around collaborative storytelling rather than complicated stat based mechanics.
We’ve been playing, running and picking apart Daggerheart since launch. Below you’ll find our full library of guides, covering everything from class builds to the mechanics that make the system tick.

Classes and subclasses

The class you choose shapes how your character fights, supports the party and interacts with the world. Each Daggerheart class comes with its own domain cards, hope features and playstyle, and we’ve got a guide for building and optimising each one.

Rules & Mechanics

Daggerheart trades the d20 for a Duality Dice system, and adds new focus on a characters Hope, Fear and Stress. If you’re coming from D&D, the mechanics take some getting used to – these guides break down how it all fits together.

Lore & Setting
