Summon your shardblades! It’s time to hop into the Cosmere!
It’s been a long time coming since the Cosmere RPG kickstarter launched a year ago. But we’re finally (sort of) there. We’ll have shiny PDFs of the Cosmere RPG landing in our inboxes at some point today with the physical editions arriving in September. Excuse me if I’m a tad excited!
But this is a kickstarter of 2 parts. This year, we’re only getting our hands on the Stormlight books with the Mistborn ones still on target to arrive around September 2026 (but that date is not set in stone). Unfortunately, we don’t yet know when the Cosmere RPG will become available in stores for those that didn’t back the Kickstarter campaign, but we have been told that this will happen at some point.
Over here at Dungeon Mister, we’ll be getting our hands dirty with this brand new system (it’s a new d20 system known as the Plotweaver system and a recent video confirmed it will be used for other RPG systems outside of the Cosmere…). We’ll be covering the system with reviews, guides and advice on everything related to the Cosmere RPG. What exactly is the Cosmere RPG?
It’s a Tabletop Role Playing Game (TTRPG) similar to D&D. The rules and system are a little different from D&D, but players of D&D will find that a lot will be familiar when playing the Cosmere RPG.
It’s of course set in the Cosmere and you can expect to travel across locations like Roshar from the Stormlight Archive, Scadriel from Mistborn and beyond. The initial release is focused on the Stormlight setting, but next year will see the release of the Mistborn setting and there are plans in motion to work on future settings too (like Elantris and Warbreaker).
You can expect to fight, talk and investigate your way through story driven campaigns. You can also expect to wield sharblades, fabrials and even bond spren to become a knight radiant.

What products are coming with the Cosmere RPG?
So there’s quite a lot to receive and it partly depends on your pledge level. This also comes in 2 bundles. The first comes this year for the Stormlight setting and the second comes next year for the Mistborn setting.

Below I’ve outlined what you’ll receive from the GM pledge level. If you make a lower pledge, you’ll receive a few less things. If you went for the collector’s set, you also get a Stormlight miniatures set and some liquid dice.
