Dungeons & Dragons Expands 2025 Lineup with Two New Releases, Including an Eberron Sourcebook

A seperate mystery release also added to the schedule

Fans of Dungeons & Dragons have even more to look forward to in 2025, as Wizards of the Coast has added two new titles to its impressive release slate. Among the highlights is Eberron: Forge of the Artificer, marking the first return to the Eberron setting since 2019. This announcement is joined by news of a mysterious untitled book slated for release in October 2025.

A New Era for Eberron

Scheduled for release on August 19, 2025, Eberron: Forge of the Artificer builds on the setting’s legacy with fresh content designed for the updated D&D rules introduced in 2024. This sourcebook will include revised rules for the Artificer class, alongside new player options such as Eberron-themed backgrounds, feats, and bastions.

Additionally, the book introduces new species options, including the Khoravar, and revisits familiar ones from Eberron: Rising from the Last War. A notable change is the flexibility of Dragonmarks, which are no longer restricted to specific species and can now be selected as feats. Players will also benefit from enhanced airship mechanics that build on the rules established in Baldur’s Gate: Descent Into Avernus.

This sourcebook is set to provide Dungeon Masters and players with a wealth of tools to bring Eberron’s magical and industrial world to life under the updated D&D framework.
