Each creature comes with detailed lore and built-in adventure hooks, making them easy to drop into any campaign. The Pleurossa storyline gives DMs a ready made arc if they want something longer. For players, the three subclasses cover different fantasies, and the Fungus Warlock in particular has generated some buzz since the supplement originally launched.
Ready for dragons of a different kind?
The subclasses and Floral Dragonborn were created after the original print run and are not in the physical hardcover – the D&D Beyond release is the first time everything is available in one place. The hardcover is still sold separately at hitpointpress.com if you want it, though the deluxe collector’s edition from the Kickstarter is sold out.
